The really fun thing about getting married is the opportunity to share with all your family and friends many of whom you may not have seen for years and years. Having met the man or women of your dreams you now get the opportunity to throw one really big party and celebrate with all.

Weddings have always been an expensive business but there are a few ways in which you can make your wedding stand out in people’s memories without having to spend a fortune. Wedding fireworks are one sure way to get your wedding remembered as they are not a common part of the traditional British wedding that is unless you’re a prince. Fine wines too are a great way to get your wedding remembered as all too often cheap and nasty wine is used at wedding celebrations.

Wedding favours in the past were always more about the rapping than what was inside the rapping. Beautiful ornate boxes made from crystal or porcelain were handed out to wedding guest with just sugar inside. However there was a reason that sugar was given at the time sugar was a very rare and therefore expensive commodity and so the giving of wedding favours was reserved for the rich and powerful.
